Step 3 Practive

Firstly,readthe instructions to the class focus the students atlention on the illustrationand point to the pictures labeled a,b and c and elisit how each student isstudying. Then point to the pictures with names Mei. Antonio and pierre undunderneath and tell them listen.

Secondly, askthem write the leter of each picture in front of the name the person.Whostudies that way. Such as, Mei says, I study by making flashcards, so theanswer to number 1 is a, play the tape for the first time, students onlylisten. Play the tape a second time, students write down their answers. After listening, I willinvite several students to check the answer, then I will give the rightanswers.

Step 4Production

First, read theinstructions to the class. And call the students attention to the conversationin the box. Invite a pair of students to read it to the class. And then tellthe students look at the other ways of studying in activity 1 and ask theirpartner how he/she studies for a test. As students work, I will listen in onvarious pairs checking propress and offer help as needed. And after students have a enhance topractice act out their conversation.

第一、教材分析。

1、 本課時主要圍繞How do you study for a test ?展開,談?wù)撊绾螌W習英語,如何準備考試,通過聽、說、讀、寫的訓練,熟練掌握和運用V+by+Ving的語言功能結(jié)構(gòu),并對學生進行學習策略指導,使他們能采取最合適自己的英語學習方法。

2、 教學目標:

①知識目標:通過本節(jié)課的學習,學生能掌握本課時的重點單詞及短語,并能靈活運用V+by+Ving結(jié)構(gòu)。

所教學生絕大部分來自農(nóng)村,英語基礎(chǔ)差,不知怎樣學好英語,很多學生對英語已失去了信心,還有一部分學生心有余而力不足,沒有掌握好學習方法,往往是事倍功半,可以借這堂課讓學生就怎樣學好英語的方法這個話題暢所欲言,達到取長補短、以點帶面的教學效果。

第三、教法設(shè)計。

1、 詞匯教學:采用多媒體、幻燈片及卡片展示,讓學生形象直觀的學習新單詞。

2、 聽力方面:教師創(chuàng)設(shè)聽力情境,并對聽力提出適當?shù)膯栴},供學生思考,讓學生感知問題,帶著問題去聽。

3、 分小組反復操練功能句。根據(jù)實際情況,拓展對話內(nèi)容,讓學生從中學會更多有利于自己的學習方法。

第四、教學過程。

1、 復習舊知:

①復習V+ing的幾種類型,為學習by+Ving結(jié)構(gòu)作鋪墊,

②復習句型:How do you go to school?

2、導入新知:

用幻燈展示圖片,教新單詞,引出短語make flashcards. make vocabulary lists. 然后教師提問:How do you study the new words?幫助學生用V+by+Ving結(jié)構(gòu)來回答:We study by making flashcards /We study by vocabulary lists 通過本環(huán)節(jié)直接引出1a內(nèi)容How do you study for an English test? 提醒學生特別注意本課時功能句V+by+Ving結(jié)構(gòu),要求學生掌握一些重要短語:work with sb / listen to tapes/ ask sb for help 然后根據(jù)1a中的詞組,以師生問答的形式進行連鎖操練。

教師再設(shè)問:Can you think out other ways to study?給予學生更多思維的空間,根據(jù)他們的學習經(jīng)驗,補充更多的學習方法。

3、1b聽力練習,讓學生觀察1a中的圖片,教師創(chuàng)設(shè)聽力情境,并對聽力提出適當?shù)膯栴},供學生思考理解,播放錄音,核對答案。此任務(wù)練習了學生的聽力及理解能力。

4、1c 鞏固操練:此環(huán)節(jié)本著積極參與、善于合作的原則,把全班分為若干小組,采取全班互動的方式,鼓勵學生善于抓住用英語交際的機會,充分感知,積極體驗,大膽實踐,以問答的形式,根據(jù)幻燈片的提示,反復操練功能句How do you study for a test? I study by……使學生做到熟能生巧。此環(huán)節(jié)老師要特別關(guān)注差生,及時個別輔導,然后鼓勵學生想出更多學習英語的好方法,并及時給予充分肯定,讓學生在學習過程中體驗成功的快樂,從而保護和激勵學生的自尊心和自信心,讓他們對英語學習有一個積極向上的良好心態(tài)。

While reading, let’s pay enough attention to the pauses, thepronunciation and the intonation of the native reader. Make our reading aloudas the same as the reader’s.

2.Reading and dividing the article into parts

Next we are goingto read aloud the article slowly and clearly. We will try to divide it intothought groups.

We shall read thearticle once again, this time, to underline all the useful expressions in it.After school, you are going to write them down in your notebook.
